Brew Better… We’re Making A Tea Mug!

FROM THE QUIRKY TEAM...

Hey Quirks!

Time to blow up the balloons and light the candles. It’s Quirky’s birthday! Yup, Wednesday marked one year since a lil’ lad named Quirky came into the world, eager to bring your product ideas to life. And look how far he’s come! Mike, Matt, Nikki, and Jason reflect on the past year on the blog.

We also met up with our friends from Uncommon Goods and the Lower East Side Ecology Center to select a compost product for Compostapalooza. It was a tough decision, but we finally settled on "The Kitchen Scrap-Cycler -- an amazing little appliance to shred and store kitchen waste". Congratulations to ideator Gail Loos! Head on over to the product research phase to help us design a killer product (and earn influence!).

As always, if you have any questions, comments, concerns, hugs… you know where we’re at: questions@quirky.com.

PRODUCT UPDATES

CLOAK

We ran into a few obstacles on the road to completing Cloak -- such is product development! Estimated ship date is now 6/24. Ben explains more on the blog.

BEAMER

Beamer is out of production, and boy does it look slick. SKU select e-mails have been sent out –- if you haven’t confirmed your order, do so now or risk losing out on pre-sales influence!

BOBBLE BRUSH

Your toothbrushes needn’t be lonely any longer... Quirky's sixth manufactured product will start shipping early next week. Don't forget to confirm your order!

Using HTML codes to embed photo/video into your submissions is a great way to bring life to your ideas, but it can be daunting for non-techies. We make it easy with simple tutorials on our blog.

QUIRK OF THE WEEK

Matthew Toghill

Why he rocks: Matt’s pro at turning our publicly available sales stats into colorful, easy-to-digest charts and graphs for the Quirky community. The Kickster ideator is also a talented logo designer and a helpful community member. Plus, his rockin' profile pic brings back memories of our dear friend, Tiny Dino (rest in peace, you ole’ scoundrel). Go Matt!
