FROM THE QUIRKY TEAM...
Hey Quirks!
The team’s finally together again after Ben, Nikki, and Brian’s successful trip to China, which means one thing: it’s business time. After much anticipation, we launched our new Payments System, added Facebook Connect functionality, and sent out SKU confirmation e-mails for the Scratch-n-Scroll. Don't forget: you only have until the end of the weekend to confirm your Cordies and Scratch-n-Scroll orders, or else you'll lose your influence!
We also sent out a call to members to Help Us Decide how we should approach issues like threshold limits and product aging. Dozens of you have provided tremendously helpful feedback on the community forum, which will help us make important decisions as the company moves forward. Join the conversation here.
And stay tuned for The Great Facebook/Twitter Fan/Follower Drive, which kicks off next week. We’ll be holding special contests and giveaways to boost our social media presence throughout the week, and we’re open to suggestions on the best ways to reach people. Hit us up on the blog if you have any great tips!
As always, feel free to contact your Community Ambassadors with questions, comments, concerns, smiles, hugs… we’re here at questions@quirky.com.

PRODUCT UPDATES
 |
BEAMER
Beamer has gone into tooling, but we do have one more question on surface finish, which we've opened for discussion in a new project. High polish or soft touch? Place your vote here.

 |
CLOAK
We're excited to push Cloak through the production process so that we can ship it not too long after Apple releases the iPad. We've received lots of e-mails asking about color selection. You'll be able to select your desired color when the product is ready to ship!

 |
WRAPSTER
Because this product just hit threshold last week, we’re very early in the production process. We do anticipate a relatively quick release for Wrapster, given its simplicity.

|

Participate in everything. You can earn influence for the smallest actions. When in doubt, vote, rate, and comment up a storm. There’s nothing better then seeing your feedback incorporated into a real world product that will ultimately sit on shelves worldwide. You never know what's going to be a hit.
For more tips, check out the Learn section of the site!

USER OF THE WEEK
Matt Fleming
Why he rocks: Everyone knows Matt. He’s the guy behind the Wrapster, that awesome Earbud Cord Management Thingy, and he’s achieved near-celebrity status on Quirky with his energetic product videos, which always involve a bright smile and a certain navy blue beanie. Matt’s a knowledgeable inventor, a talented product designer, and a helpful presence on the forum. We’re excited to get his “baby” onto shelves!
